What you see below is the final poster for the Hilary Swank-starring horror thriller THE REAPING. In it, Swank plays a former Christian missionary who develops a beef with God after her family is tragically killed so now she goes around debunking religious phenomena as a big “f*ck you” to the Big Guy Upstairs. When the Almighty unleashes the ten biblical plagues on her ass as a counter “oh no you didn’t!”, she must find her faith if she’s to survive. Precocious heir to the Dakota Fanning throne AnnaSophia Robb also stars in the film and from what I can gather, her role involves being exceptionally creepy, which lends itself well to her natural preternatural talent. The film opens March 30th.
