You know a movie is good when not only is it being remade, but it’s also spawning a sequel… at the same time! Case in point is [REC], the Spanish scare flick that can be seen in the Hollywood version this October in QUARANTINE. That’s right, it also has a sequel coming, cleverly titled [REC] 2!
Aullidos scored the first ever teaser poster for the sequel, and it’s very similar to the teaser poster for the original: a simple, bleeding image with an all black background. Simple… and totally effective.
Directed by [REC] directors Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, there’s no word on the specifics of the sequel (yet), but I’m guessing another horrified TV report coming from the depths of some apocalyptic event. Who knew the news could be so scary?
