Yesterday's unveiling of a poster for Brandon Cronenberg's "very dark and extreme" horror film POSSESSOR paved the way for the release of a red band teaser trailer, which can be seen above!
Written and directed by Cronenberg (yes, he is the son of David Cronenberg), POSSESSOR has the following synopsis:
Tasya Vos is an agent for a secretive organization who uses brain-implant technology to inhabit other people’s bodies, driving them to commit assassinations for the benefit of high-paying clients. But something goes wrong on a routine job, and Tasya soon finds herself trapped in the mind of an unwitting suspect whose appetite for violence turns out to rival her own.
The film stars Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Niv Fichman, Fraser Ash, Kevin Krikst, and Andy Starke produced.
Judging by the trailer, this movie is going to be very creepy and weird. POSSESSOR doesn't have a release date yet, but we'll let you know when one is announced.
