After a seven month hiatus, here’s the second story on Andrew Paquin’s OPEN HOUSE in one day. Now that’s some mothaf*ckin’ traction!
During the wee hours of this morning, we learned Paquin’s psychological thriller has been snatched up by Grindstone Entertainment Group, with an unspecified August release date intact. Well, now we have a first look at the red-band trailer for the movie, which you can sniff out below!
Here’s an alternate rundown from the one we saw early this morning:
A couple on the verge of a nasty divorce attempt to sell their empty love nest and move on with their lives, separately. After a successful open house they are horrified to discover, days later, that a potential buyer didn’t leave their home. While Alice is being held captive in the basement, the unannounced house guest moves in upstairs. She senses her capture is being kept a rebellious secret. She knows her way only way out if she can only get out alive.
Sounds pretty damn unnerving. Imagine hosting an open house, only to find one of the potential buyers never left the joint. It’d be like that dude from I LOVE YOU, MAN just kicking it for days, eating flatbread paninis and whatnot. Frightening!
In no doubt a nepotistic favor, Anna Paquin (Andrew’s sis) and Stephen Moyer star in the film, doing so alongside Rachel Blanchard, Tricia Helfer (below), Brian Geraghty, William Morse, Jessica Collins, Larry Sullivan, Gabriel Olds, Shaun Guttridge, Mia Riverton, Naja Hill, Bonnie Kathleen Ryan and Cary Alexander.
Have a look at the red-band!
