Fangoria gave us the heads up on an upcoming horror flick that sounds – and looks – like a barrel of laughs and then some. Starring Henry Thomas and directed by Bruce Dickson (yes, THE Bruce Dickson), the flick’s called RED VELVET, and if you like your horror in the slasher sub-genre, then you’re going to get a kick out of this!
Besides the awesome image above, co-writer/ co-producer Joe Moe spilled the beans on what the flick is about and why it’s going to be so awesome. Check it out: RED VELVET is meant to be a sort of deconstructed slasher film, which aspires to play with conventions of the genre while hitting all the necessary horror marks.
Cool beans! Starring alongside Thomas is Kelli Garner, who has a nice rack, judging from the image below. But wait, is that the bunny rabbit we’ve grown to love over the years featured in DONNIE DARKO? You know, Frank? Is that Frank the Bunny splitting this poor sap in half?
No, it isn’t. But holy hell, does it look like him from a distance! To check out another image, as well as to find out where this bad boy was filmed and what the damn thing is all about, go ahead and click HERE, and stick around for more on RED VELVET as we hear it!
