Reese hearts Vince

Or not.

Apparently, in one of the funnier things I’ve heard in a while, on the set of FOUR CHRISTMASES, Reese Witherspoon is refusing to film her simulated sex scenes with Vince Vaughn, cementing her reputation as the consummate professional. Apparently it’s something about Vaughn not wanting to rehearse scenes, preferring to ad-lib his stuff, and also because he arrives on the set having spent the entire night in a bar. Said PageSix.com‘s source, “Reese has an issue with the scripted love scene. It is meant to be a funny, American Pie-style romp, full of bumps and laughs, but Reese is of such a prude, she thinks it’s just too much.” Now, this source could quite likely be ‘some random passer-by with a big mouth’, but let’s run with it anyway. So, to re-cap: Witherspoon is being unprofessional (refusing to work) because Vaughn is being unprofessional. I don’t know how this will ever be resolved, but I’m thinking the argument “so’s your face” will be the trump card. FOUR CHRISTMASES (co-starring Robert Duvall, Jon Favreau and Sissy Spacek) is about a couple whose divorced parents don’t get along, and so have to go visit each individually.
