Reids in the Fields

According to Variety and MySpace, Tara Reid is still getting work, even if that work is of the STD variety (that’s Straight to DVD, not the other one…). Reid is all set to star in the Tom Mattera & Dave Mazzoni directed horror flick THE FIELDS for Mr. Big Productions.

I know. Now you’re dying to know what THE FIELDS is all about… and today is your lucky day. [THE FIELDS] is based on true events that took place in a small Pennsylvania town in 1973. It tells the story of a young boy and his family who are terrorized by an unseen presence.

Does Reid play the young boy? Nope–she plays the young boy’s MOM! Wow, now she knows she’s getting older (or just looking older) when she scores the mom roles… but nowadays, any role is a good role to come by!

Mattera and Mazzoni directed the acclaimed film THE 4TH DIMENSION, and Tommy Lee Wallace is set to act as the film’s Associate Producer. That’s right, the director of IT. Hmmmm… interesting, I tell you!

I know I’ve made a lot of people’s Friday’s, as the fascination of Reid is one that doesn’t seem to falter, even when her career is in the dumps. She may be haggered…. but she’s still hot! Stick around for more info on THE FIELDS as we hear it!
