Everytime I visit Rob Zombie’s official site for THE DEVIL’S REJECTS, I’m more amazed, and more pumped to see what the final outcome is going to be (to me, it already looks better than HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES). It’s gritty, it’s mean, and it looks like a whole hell of a lot of fun! And Zombie’s no-bullshit site is definitely a plus.
One thing that has me intrigued is the music. The movie’s by Rob Zombie, so you know the music is going to f*ckin’ rock! But how much? This is what Zombie had to say:
”I heard the first bits of music that Tyler Bates has been composing for the film and all I can say is… HOLY *****! Tyler has truly managed to create what I think is some of the most violently terrifying music I have ever heard. This is definitely going to be the best horror score you all have heard in a long, long time.
The movie immediately jumped up to a whole new level due to his amazing score.”
Damn! Rob Zombie himself is calling this score “violently terrifying”- so you know it’s just going to scare the pants off of everybody. Bates did a bang-up scoring the new DAWN OF THE DEAD, and with this much hype on just the score of the movie, I’m sure it’s safe to assume REJECTS is going to slaughter all of our expectations.
