THE DARK KNIGHT producer Charles Roven and TRANSPORTER producer Steve Chasman are bringing a little 80s action nostalgic back by resurrecting fictional 80s era action star Remo Williams in a project titled THE DESTROYER. The series centered on Williams as a New Jersey cop who’s imprisoned so his death can be faked and he can be reborn as the titular hero in a “top-secret assassin squad set up by the government to operate outside the bounds of the law.” Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, who are writing WAR OF GODS, have been assigned to write Remo’s adventures.
