Three-timing SAW director Darren Lynn Bousman has organs, bloodshed and songs on the way with REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, but what should you expect and when will you see it?

I’ll let Bousman himself explain, via his MySpace blog:

“Let me start off by dispelling some rumors.

THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE: There is a release date – and should be announced in the next couple of weeks.

THERE IS NO TRAILER: The trailer is AMAZING!!! Come to Comic Con and see it unleashed in all it’s glory!

WE CAN’T HEAR ANY OF THE MUSIC: Starting in July we will start rolling tracks out for your listening pleasure!

THEY ARE NOT DOING ANY SCREENINGS: Come to Fantasia JULY 18th!!!!”

Okay, but what exactly is this crazy REPO! thing? Per the director:

“It’s a musical. A musical with PARIS HILTON, and SARAH BRIGHTMAN… People kill people… and then sing about it, and then dance around their dead bodies and sing some more. “

And, unsurprisingly based on that description, it’s not necessarily for everyone:

“Some of you will LOVE Repo… Some will HATE it… I am just excited that soon you can make that decision for yourself.”
