I’m going to be honest… two weeks ago I had close to no interest in Neill Blomkamp’s DISTRICT 9. I know… shame on me. After the ridiculously awesome reviews coming at me the past week though I now can’t wait to check this one out! I haven’t heard anything resembling negativity in regards to DISTRICT 9 thus far, so what am I waiting for?
Well it seems the obvious success (and clifffhanger ending?) have nearly secured a sequel to the Peter Jackson produced sci-fi flick… at least that seems to be the case according to Entertainement Weekly. They’re PopWatch Blog passed along the word that director Neill Blomkamp would love to revist District 9, or District 10? Unfortunately I didn’t read the whole article in fear of having the ending of DISTRICT 9 ruined for me. But if you’ve already seen the film and would like to read up on what I’m talking about you can head right over HERE!
If you haven’t yet make sure to head to your nearest theater and check out DISTRICT 9, because apparently this thing is pretty epic! I know I’ll definitely be checking it out asap.
