Some say it rings THE GRUDGE, and I can totally see the similarities, but I’m also feelin’ a bit of STIR OF ECHOES in the mix as well. I will say one thing: the hand in the mirror gag totally got me! Even on the dinky MovieFone screen, I had a startled moment. So for that… good shite. As for the rest… doesn’t look bad, but it’s PG-13 and 85 minute running timef factor has me a bit worried. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see. Could be cinematic gold, no?
