Like so many of you out there, I’m a HUGE fan of the
CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK and
PITCH BLACK universe, and have been hoping that Vin f*cking Diesel would bring the man back and lay on more badass for us all to enjoy. The sequel to RIDDICK has been rumored about for awhile now… until now.
ComingSoon! scored an interview with Diesel this week to talk about his upcoming flick FIND ME GUILTY, in which he dropped a few tasty tidbits regarding RIDDICK 2- and yes folks, it’s gonna happen!!!
“I wrote a storyline, essentially, that covered three pictures, so where Riddick goes in the next two pictures is already mapped out. It’s not in script form, but it is being all developed, and it is going to surface when you least expect it.”
Yes. It’s coming. That’s all I needed to hear. Actually, what I really needed to hear from Diesel is what he said when asked if he wanted to buy the rights back from Universal:
“Who told you that? I’ll kill ’em! Where is he,?”
He’s such a badass dude. What can I say, I miss the good ol’ days of R rated action movies starring meatheads like Scwarzenegger and Stallone, that didn’t care how polically incorrect they were, that bled testosterone and was proud of it. Diesel is our generation’s Stallone, and I’d follow that dude anywhere.
