Depending on your opinion of George Lutz, he was either a con-artist or an honest-to-goodness truth teller. Whatever your opinion, it certainly doesn’t matter at the present time.
George Lee Lutz, the man whose family experiences brought us THE AMITYVILLE HORROR films, passed away from natural causes on Monday, May 8th at the age of 59. According to Lutz’s official site, one of his greatest passions was feeding the homeless. Instead of flowers, the Lutz family requests that donations be made to:

With regards to Lutz’s site, it will be shut down until further notice out of respect for the family.
