Back in December our man Jared relayed a tidbit about the possibility of Rob Zombie rockin’ a television episode of “CSI.” Well we’ve got an update for ya!
Zombie’s headed to south Florida.
Wait, not so fast! While Zombie will indeed try his directorial hand at the long running Crime Scene Investigation program, it looks like he’s bringing “the Miami crime-solving team to Los Angeles in a story that involves secret tape recordings and evidence tampering” (AP).
Alrighty then.
Production went underway today, with the episode of “CSI: Miami” set to air on March 1st.
I guess this really isn’t all that out of left field. Remember Tarantino rockin’ a couple of CSI episodes a few years back? Zombie obviously has ties with Quentin, as both collaborated in the faux-trailer portion of GRINDHOUSE. I wonder how the two men’s respective episodes will stack up. Better yet, I wonder what the hell happened to THE BLOB and/or TYRANNOSAURUS REX??? Naw’mean?!?
Zombie’s last film was the tepidly met HALLOWEEN II.
