Robert Englund set to battle crocs in ‘final’ Lake Placid flick The Final Chapter

You guys remember that killer croc movie LAKE PLACID? Of course you do. It’s the one with Betty White!.. Well are you aware there have been a couple LAKE PLACID sequels already made and released? I believe one actually broke a record over at the SyFy Channel. Oh… you knew that?

Well how about this smart guy, did you know there’s a ‘final’ LAKE PLACID in the works and that none other than the great Robert Englund will be starring in it? No, you didn’t, did you? Well there is. And according to Entertainment weekly’s Inside TV blog the flick will be called LAKE PLACID: THE FINAL CHAPTER.

Englund (right) will be playing ‘Jim Bickerman,’ a member of the ‘Bickerman’ family that includes characters from the previous installments played by Betty White, Cloris Leachman and Colin Ferguson. Englund’s ‘Jim Bickerman’ will be a poacher caught up in the film’s latest giant croc attack.

While no official plot breakdown has been released for LAKE PLACID: THE FINAL CHAPTER we do know that it’ll also star Elisabeth Rohm (below) and Yancy Butler. The film is currently filming in Bulgaria with a 2012 release being eyed so expect more on this one soon.
