The biggest female movie star in the world strikes again. Julia Roberts has another project lined up (after the Clive Owen-costarring con movie DUPLICITY) to produce and potentially star in, despite the fact that there is no one currently allowed to write it. The film is called HOTHOUSE FLOWERS and is about a recently divorced Manhattanite who leaves her job at an ad agency and “takes her places she never expected to go,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film will be based on Margot Berwin’s yet-to-be-released novel of the same name. Berwin is a writer for Nerve.com, an edgy online zine that counts dudes like Chuck Palahniuk and Jonathan Lethem as contributors, so there’s actually a chance that this could be good.
