Robin Williams fans blown away by Jamie Costa’s spot-on impersonation

The world lost a very special individual with the death of Robin Williams and it’s hard to deny his influence and contribution to the world of comedy and entertainment. As with many larger-than-life figures, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood got the ball rolling on a Robin Williams biopic somewhere down the road. Thankfully, they won’t have to look too hard at an actor to play the comedian as Jamie Costa has blown fans away with his Robin Williams impersonation.

Jamie Costa, who you might remember for his spot-on Han Solo impersonation some years ago, posted a video on his YouTube channel which features him as Robin Williams during his Mork & Mindy days. It’s not all one-liners however as Costa turns on the drama when Pam Dawber (Sarah Murphree) enters to inform Williams of the death of John Belushi.

Although we haven’t had a proper Robins Williams biopic, there have been several documentaries released since his death, including Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind and Robin’s Wish. Robin Williams first played Mork in an episode of Happy Days, and the character proved to be so popular that they gave him his own show with Mork & Mindy. The show was a huge success and rocketed Robin Williams to stardom. The series lasted for four seasons before dwindling ratings caused ABC to cancel it.
