Looks like Alex Murphy just collared another body…
Variety has it that Marianne Jean-Baptiste (seen right) is the newest to join forces with MGM and Jose Padilha for ROBOCOP. Word is the veteran British actress will portray the character of Detroit Police Chief, Karen Dean. Murphy better not get too far out of line then, ay?!

In RoboCop, the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front.
