By all accounts, Guy Ritchie’s upcoming gangster thriller ROCKNROLLA is a return to form for the Brit director. And the film’s first trailer that Empire Online recently premiered only helps to reinforce that. There isn’t a lot revealed plot-wise but there’s a lot of style, a lot of funny involving Tom Wilkinson and Jeremy Piven and a lot of crazy psychedelic shit involving Gerard Butler that’s just plain awesome (though it’s a little deficient on the Thandie Newton and the Gemma Arterton). The story centers on a shady land deal, a Russian mobster and a whole lotta money. Click through to check out the trailer. The film opens October 31st.
