New mask, same voice?
The theatrics of SCRE4M continues. While trying their hardest to simultaneously birth something fresh and tap into a proven love – The Weinsteins, Wes Craven and writer Kevin Williamson seem to be scrambling a bit at the moment. So what better way to address the recent, perhaps overly-telling, tidbit that a new Ghost Face mask may be in play this time around. Hire the voice the old mask, that’s how!
It’s true y’all! According to Wednesday’s Korner, actor Roger L. Jackson confirmed he will return to make menacing phone calls in SCRE4M. It marks the fourth consecutive SCREAM film he’ll participate in, making him as experienced as Neve, David and Courteney. Here’s what Jackson said:
“It’s a lot of fun, I love the work! It’s going to be a great horror sequel.”
And there ya are yo! But how do ya feel about it? Is Jackson’s return all but necessary? Or would you rather Craven and Co. go in a new direction entirely?
