We’ve given you a fair amount of info concerning George Romero’s DIARY OF THE DEAD already, but today the Dread Central boys caught up with the man himself and got some info on what madness he plans to bring.
“I wanted a new set of characters and have them deal with these events as they first come,” says Romero. “I also want to deal with things from a very different perspective.” that perspective being a subjective camera point of view a la Blair Witch as a means to reinvent the franchise a bit.
Also shared in the interview is that Romero is really planning a direct-to-dvd release in order to keep studio interference completely out of the equation. He’s also looking to get a chance to make it gory as hell!
