Ron Howard teases costumes from the Han Solo Star Wars spinoff

It's probably safe to say that not many of us would have suspected that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller would depart the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM with months of principal photography under their belts, but that's exactly what happened. In a statement, the duo said that, "unfortunately, our vision and process weren’t aligned with our partners on this project." It may be some time before we hear the definitive word on what went on behind the scenes, but Lucasfilm/Disney were quick to task Ron Howard with taking over the film.

Ron Howard has been at work on the STAR WARS spin-off for a little less than two weeks, but he seems to be having quite a lot of fun with the film, even poking fun at all of the secrecy surrounding the production. Howard took to Twitter earlier today to spill one more tease, a few unspecified costumes hanging in a closet. I know, shocking.

As for whose closet this is, I'd bet that there's only one man cool enough to pull off that wardrobe – Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover). What do you folks think? There's probably several books worth of gossip about what went on behind the scenes of the UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM, but Woody Harrelson spoke with Uproxx recently to comment about the recent change of director and to assure fans that all was well.

Oh, you can relax, man – because obviously the Force is with us. Ron is great. He’s awesome. He’s such a gentleman and so prepared. And I loved Chris and Phil. But I think we did land in very capable hands.

The UNTITLED HAN SOLO STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY FILM is still scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release.
