Rose McIver talks undead cuisine in new iZombie featurette

We’re less than a month away from the premiere of The CW’s “iZombie”, which looks like a surprisingly good time. With zombies taking up the screen in theaters, on TV and in video games, it’ll be nice to see the sub-genre shining under a new light, which looks to be the case with “iZombie”. We have a new featurette in which series star Rose McIver talks zombie cuisine. Dig it below, and look out for the show on Tuesday, March 17th.

Based upon characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, "iZombie" is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Spondoolie Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Rob Thomas, Diane Ruggiero-Wright (“Veronica Mars”), Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge . The pilot was directed by Rob Thomas.

Here's the synopsis:

A medical student who becomes a zombie joins a Coroner's Office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity but every brain she eats, she also inherits their memories and must now solve their deaths with help from the Medical examiner and a police detective.

The series stars Rose McIver (“Masters of Sex,” “Once Upon a Time”) as Liv, Malcolm Goodwin (“Breakout Kings”) as Clive Babineaux, newcomer Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill”) as Major Lilywhite, and David Anders (“Once Upon a Time,” “The Vampire Diaries”) as Blaine DeBeers.
