producing the films we love actually listen to the suggestions of the fans
when making decisions. And today folks, the moon is as blue as it gets!
Michael Allred, the guy behind THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD DVD
campaign, got in touch with us earlier today because Steve Pross from
Rykodisc is re-issuing the soundtrack for ROTLD on CD (he’s the same dude who
put the original soundtrack together 20 years ago!) . Here’s the
kicker: They want to know what the fans would want to see on the
soundtrack!
This is all in efforts to make the MGM release of the ROTLD DVD more
appealing for those who have loved this flick since day one, and for the
ones who just discovered it by walking down the lone isle’s of the VHS
Horror Section at their local video store.
Not only are they looking for what kind of music the fans want to see,
but if there are any rare or interesting pictures from the movie to
include in the liner notes/jacket of the CD! Like I said, an opportunity
like this for us fans only comes once in a blue moon- so here’s our
chance to show em’ what we want!
