S. DARKO picks up seven years after the first film with little sister Samantha Darko and her best friend Corey who are now 18 and on a road trip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions. Now I’m a big Richard Kelly fan, which I’ve made no secret before… so needless to say this Kelly-less sequel isn’t really doing much for me… but who knows? The film comes from director Chris Fisher with Nathan Atkins penning the script. It stars Jackson Rathbone, Ed Westwick, Briana Evigan (below), Elizabeth Berkley, James Lafferty, Matthew Davis, and Daveigh Chase returning as S. Darko.
