The plot finds Duhamel and Jackson as Louisiana lawmen who are tasked with stopping the assassination of a charismatic preacher. But they soon discover that far more powerful forces are behind the crime – and soon they’re facing a cosmic confrontation between Heaven and Hell.

Damn, between this, ANTICHRIST, LEGION and PRIEST (not to mention some of the period genre flicks coming up) – a weird shift to religiously tinged horror films seems to be a legitimate pattern. How do you all feel about this assessment, and if agreed, how do you view such a shift?
SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL is in early pre-production, with the script complete and the only order of business remaining before funding the film is selling off international theatrical and DVD rights.
