Curious as to the scraggy hobo beard Sam Rockwell was sporting while promoting his turn as a sex-addicted repeat choke victim in CHOKE at the recent Sundance Film Festival, MTV Movies Blog questioned him about it. The beard, it seems, is not a fashion forward throwback to the bearded days of yore but preparation for a film titled MOON in which he plays a character who’s been stranded on the moon for three years. He didn’t reveal how he managed to get stranded on the moon but presumably hell at least have an inanimate companion whose loss he’ll feel more than losing a family member. The film is under director Duncan Jones, someone a little more familiar than you may think. Read about him over HERE. Rockwell can next be seen in the drama FROST/NIXON.
