The Kill Room: Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman reuniting in the new comedy-thriller

A Pulp Fiction reunion is being staged for a brand new project. It has been announced that Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman, who co-starred in the 1994 Quentin Tarantino classic, are reuniting for the new comedy-thriller, The Kill Room.

The Kill Room is being described as a “darkly comic thriller” about a hitman who accidentally becomes an art world sensation. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Nicol Paone is helming the project and it will be shot soon in New Jersey and New York. The film’s full synopsis reads, “The story follows a hitman, his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld.” As of this writing, the main role has not been cast.

Jordan Yale Levin, Jordan Beckerman, and Jon Keeyes are producing the project through their Yale Productions banner. The producing team had this to say about Sam Jackson and Uma Thurman joining the project:

“The combination of Uma and Sam for this project is a dream come true. We are certain that Nicol is going to deliver a special film, and one that strikes the perfect balance between dark humor and edge-of-your-seat thrills.”

Jackson and Thurman didn’t share scenes together in 1994’s Pulp Fiction but their presence together in this new project is a fun little connection to their work with Tarantino. The duo also appeared in Kill Bill: Volume 2 together but here’s to hoping that The Kill Room gives them some more scenes together.
