Samuel L. Jackson is far from happy about a Far From Home poster error

Even though fans across the world are as excited as ever to see Spider-Man back on screen in SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, the general consensus has been that the posters for the movie have been…questionable. Recent posters have got good lickings online for looking like slapped-together Photoshop tutorials with characters like Peter Parker (Tom Holland), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) standing around awkwardly, but now a new poster flub has pissed off the wrong person: Mr. Sam Jackson himself.

While about town, it seems, Jackson stumbled upon two banners featuring his eye-patch-wearing character front and center. However, as Jackson noticed, only one of the posters features the eye accessory over the correct left eye, while the other is lazily mirrored to show it over the incorrect right eye.

"The Actual FUCK IS GOING ON HERE???!!! #headsgonroll #lefteyemuthafukkah,” Jackson wrote on Instagram after taking a snapshot. This is a perfect response, and indeed the only correct one given Jackson has been playing the character for over a decade and has been wearing the eye patch the whole time (sans his two-eyed work in CAPTAIN MARVEL).

Though some of the early posters with Spidey posing across Europe are fine (and call back to ones from HOMECOMING), later entries have Photoshopped to hell and posses little artistic merit. Of course, people are going to see this movie anyway, but still, poster art should never be taken lightly. Some artists agreed and did the generous favor of making up some of his own posters for the movies, which you can see here (via Jumpcut Online).

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME is in theaters July 2.
