Satan rides the elevator in the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Devil

JoBloJoBlo

In between bending air, M. Night Shyamalan was spending time in the past couple years putting together a new series of flicks based on his own concepts (and twist endings, probably) but made by other filmmakers.

First up is DEVIL (originally going under THE NIGHT CHRONICLES: DEVIL), a supernatural thriller directed by John Dowdle (QUARANTINE) from a script by Brian Nelson (30 DAYS OF NIGHT), based on Shyamalan’s original concept of, apparently, evil in an elevator. It does feel a bit like a “Twilight Zone” episode (especially since Bokeem Woodbine seems to be the most recognizable actor), but maybe there are plenty of chills to be found between floors.
