Los Espookys

Coming soon to HBO is a genre project that looks to me like it could be a lot of fun, the Spanish-language horror comedy show Los Espookys.

Created by Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega, and Saturday Night Live veteran Fred Armisen, Los Espookys is set "in a strange and dreamy version of present day Mexico City" and follows

a group of horror genre-loving friends who are using their passion to turn a profit. Horror and gore enthusiast Renaldo starts a horror-for-hire business in present-day Mexico City with his friends Úrsula, her sister Tati, and Andres — better known as Los Espookys.

Torres and Fabrega star in the show with Bernardo Velasco, Cassandra Cangherotti, and José Pablo Minor. Armisen is also part of the cast.

Saturday Night Live co-creator Lorne Michael serves as an executive producer on the show alongside Armisen and Andrew Singer.

Set to run for six episodes, the first season of Los Espookys will begin airing on HBO on June 14th. A trailer can be seen below. I don't have HBO, but this makes me wish I did:
