Saw: The Video Game?

After making not one, not two, but three successful entries in the SAW franchise, it’s somewhat a wonder why this hasn’t happened yet. Never-the-less, Variety is reporting that the newly formed Brash Entertainment is looking into making a video game based on the SAW films.

Brash was formed to make games exclusively based on movies, TV and music, and is eyeing a dozen movies for video game adaptations, including SAW (or more specifically SAW III), and even 300, which is odd cause I swear there’s already a video game out there for that one…

Though nothing has officially been announced (like release dates and such), the SAW III game will almost certainly happen. First, I thought it was a dumb idea, but as I thought about it more, I realized that the potential for a SAW video game to be awesome is totally there! Imagine if you could play Jigsaw, and build torturous devices to take down your victims. The more vicitims that fail your tests, the higher the score you get! Or even as a detective on the case, tracking Jigsaw down and solving the mystery… could be very cool, indeed.
