Here it is, your first real taste of this Halloween’s SAW V! I’m not positive, but I reckon this is the film’s opening sequence. As far as Jigsaw’s traps go (or Hoffman’s, or whoever the hell is setting these things now), it’s pretty creepy, and certainly more than a little inspired by Mr. E.A. Poe. As you may well know, this series likes crushing bones and f*cking with people’s limbs, so in those areas, the clip doesn’t disappoint.
Directed by David Hackl and written by Marcus Dunston and Patrick Melton, SAW V stars Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Julie Benz, Scott Patterson, Mark Rolston, Meagan Good, and Betsy Russell. It hits theaters on… Hmm, not sure. I’ll get back to you on that…
