It’s coming. The return of one of the best horror franchises of all time. They’re smart. They’re funny. They’re down right scary. And no place else can combine the elements of SAW II, THE GRUDGE and WAR OF THE WORLDS all in one movie…
And yes, I’m only joking. I’m talking about yet another pointless and stupid sequel to 2000’s SCARY MOVIE. Not that the original was bad- actually it was hella funny. But PART 2 and especially PART 3 straight up sucked. Bad. So now that SCARY MOVIE 4 is gearing for it’s release, I for one am not looking forward to them at all.
HorrorMovies.ca happened to come across the first teaser posters for the flick though, and they’re actually kinda funny. This one obviously ripping on SAW, while the others (which you can check out by clicking HERE) spoof WORLDS and THE GRUDGE. The one for THE GRUDGE had me in stitches! Funny shit!
But let’s not be fooled- they were funny for PART 3 too, so I’m still not expecting much- at least the advertising is mildly amusing! Look for SCARY MOVIE 4 April 14th, 2006.
