Schweiger a Bastard

Another day, another casting announcement from Quentin Tarantino’s INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. Although, truth be told, while the last update was only a FEW DAYS AGO, the update before that was almost two weeks… hey that’s pretty good!

Anyway, today’s update is that German star Til Schweiger has landed a role in the flick, not as a Nazi as you might think, but as one of the actual Inglorious Bastards, the group of renegade Nazi-killers led by Brad Pitt’s Lt. Aldo.

This guy has the look of an ass-kicker, and may be one of the only casting announcements that I can honestly say “yeah, I can see that.”

Casting is swinging into full gear now (as if it wasn’t in full gear before) with filming set to begin October 13th on location in Germany. Oh QT, let’s hope you can deliver! Stick around for more casting updates on INGLORIOUS BASTARDS as they swing our way!
