Scooby-Doo pinball machine coming

Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you? Soon enough, Scooby-Doo and the whole gang can be right in your living room, as Spooky Pinball has announced their latest mystery machine: one based off of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon. So no, you won’t be seeing Freddie Prinze Jr. behind the backglass.

Three additions of the Scooby-Doo pinball machine will be available: Standard ($7,769), Blood Sucker Edition ($8,796) and Collectors Edition ($9,769). Some of the gameplay features on the versions include five-player mode, secret passages and a bravery meter. There are also 16 custom sculpts, over 200 LEDs and a pop-up Scooby in a barrel! Artwork is by Matt Frank and Jeff Zornow, with music by Matthew Montgomery.

The Blood Sucker Edition also adds more kits, protective armor for the flipper button, special decals, and more. The Collectors Edition scares up even more goodies, with more sculpts, signs and cabinetry upgrades. Both the Blood Sucker Edition and the Collectors Edition are numbered. The pinball machines will reportedly be limited to 1,969 units, matching the year in which Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! premiered.

Of further note, voices will be provided by Frank Welker (original voice of Fred), Matthew Lillard (Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movies), Kate Micucci (current voice of Velma), and Grey DeLisle (who has voiced Daphne more than a dozen times).

Last year, Spooky Pinball unveiled their Halloween machine. Other machines include Alice Cooper’s Nightmare Castle and one based off of Ricky and Morty and Ultraman. Pop culture pinball machines have been on the upswing, with ones based on the James Bond franchise, Toy Story 4 and Stranger Things having been announced over the past couple of years.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming Scooby-Doo pinball machine? Will you be picking up one of the machines? Let us know!
