Scope out the exciting new UK quad for Julian Gilbey’s A Lonely Place to Die

So how are you guys feeling about Julian Gilbey’s woodsy thriller A LONELY PLACE TO DIE? So far I’ve heard some pretty decent things about the flick, including our own Chris Bumbray’s glowing review. But I’m not sure… this one still isn’t slapping me across the face, ya know?

If anything right now it’s got me on the hook for a Redbox rental and I’d say that’s pretty acceptable, right? A group of five mountaineers are hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands, practicing for a more dangerous ascent of the Eiger later in the year. On the second day of their trek one of the party hears a noise. They follow the sound and chance upon an air-pipe that is sticking out of the ground. They can hear the cries of a person from beneath the earth. They start digging and soon discover an eight year old Russian girl buried in a small chamber. She is terrified, dehydrated, half-starved and can’t speak a word of English.

Set to drop November 11th, A LONELY PLACE TO DIE stars George, Ed Speleers, Sean Harris, Karel Roden, Eammon Walker, Alec Newman, Kate Magowan and Holly Boyd.
