The story follows a young, go-getter type entrepreneur (Hartnett) who has trouble keeping his head above water when the bottom begins to fall out of the stock market, just weeks prior to the September 11 disaster. Scott and Torn are to play Hartnett’s conniving brother and father respectively. Except I made that conniving part up. I don’t know why but there’s just something about Adam Scott’s face that makes me think he’s conspiring to do something sneaky. It’s the same thing with William Mapother in LOST.
