Scream 4, Limitless and Sucker Punch get their MPAA ratings!

The overlords of good taste and acceptable standards at the MPAA hath sent down from the mountain their latest rulings, and we’re all the wiser for it. Three flicks we’ve been keeping an eye on – SCREAM 4, LIMITLESS and SUCKER PUNCH – have been given their ratings, all of them fairly predictable.

First up, SCREAM 4; don’t worry, it hasn’t been distilled into a PG-13 wimpfest. The Wes Craven movie has been Rated R for “strong bloody violence, language and some teen drinking.” All of that probably goes down in reverse order…

Next we have Zach Snyder’s SUCKER PUNCH, which has been given a PG-13 for “thematic material involving sexuality, violence and combat sequences, and for language.” Sexuality, eh? Could that be… bisexuality??? Let’s pray.

Finally, the Bradley Cooper/Robert De Niro thriller LIMITLESS, which looks less and less appealing the more I see ads for it. (It certainly doesn’t look like AITH material, but hey, what the f*ck.) The flick has been slapped with a PG-13 rating for “thematic material involving a drug, violence including disturbing images, sexuality and language.” Come to think of it, with all that dirty business going down, maybe LIMITLESS is AITH material!

Hottie Abbie Cornish is in both LIMITLESS and SUCKER PUNCH
