SDCC TV trailers: Scream, Vikings, kung fu and more

It’s been a hell of a day in regards to feature films, but the San Diego Comic Con hasn’t neglected it’s television brethren. We have some fresh TV trailers straight from the Con and what an eclectic mix at that! Vikings, serial killers, kung fu and Patrick Fugit. Fugit, man! Check out each trailer and synopsis (if applicable) to gear up for what’s to come on the smaller screens!

Outcast

Patrick Fugit (ALMOST FAMOUS, GONE GIRL) stars as Barnes, a man searching for answers, and for redemption, who sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt. Philip Glenister stars as Reverend Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is a soldier in God’s holy war against the forces of evil on Earth. An inveterate drinker and gambler, he doesn’t believe God intends people to sweat the small stuff. Gabriel Bateman stars as Joshua Austin, an eight-year-old who lives across town from Kyle. To his family’s dismay, he appears to be in the clutches of demonic possession, but there’s something very different about this possession and its connection to Kyle Barnes.

Colony

From executive producers Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Ryan Condal (Hercules), Colony is set in the very near future, centering on one family’s struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles. SAG winner Josh Holloway (Lost) stars as former FBI agent Will Bowman and Satellite Award winner Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) stars as his wife, Katie, in the series which takes place in a dangerous world of divided ideologies. While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel and suffer the consequences. After being separated from their son during the invasion, Will and Katie are willing to do whatever is necessary to be reunited with him. Thus, when the powerful Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson, House) offers Will a chance to get his son back if he will collaborate with the occupational government, Will and Katie find themselves faced with the toughest decision of their lives. They will have to go beyond whatever they thought possible, risking their lives and their relationship to protect their family.

Scream

In the Scream TV Series, everyone has secrets. Everyone tells lies. Everyone is fair game. What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.

Vikings: Season 4

Creator Michael Hirst and cast members Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Clive Standen (Rollo) and Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn) returned to SDCC fresh from the season four set to share with fans what the Gods have in store us.

Into the Badlands

In a land controlled by feudal barons, Into the Badlands tells the story of a great warrior and a young boy who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.

The Man in the High Castle

Based on Philip K. Dick’s award-winning novel, and executive produced by Ridley Scott (BLADE RUNNER), The Man in the High Castle explores what it would be like if the Allied Powers had lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the United States. Starring Rufus Sewell (John Adams), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars) and Alexa Davalos (Mob City).
