Earlier this year I was privy to be a zombie
extra in a Canadian remake of a horror classic, and now it seems that the
opportunity to see this thing on the big screen has finally come.
Independent director Reese Eveneshen filmed his
interpretation of the George Romero classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD late last
year, and his version of the film will finally be premiering on the big screen
April 1st.
The film will be shown at the Bookshelf Cinema in
Downtown Guelph (Ontario). Tickets will be $10 at the door but if you’re
interested in making sure to land a couple of seats you can buy advanced tickets
from Ed Video by calling 519-836-981.
From what I saw of the film, it should be pretty
cool and I know for a fact that it will be plenty gorey. A small clip from the
film can be seen below, and if you like what you see and are in the Guelph area
on the 1st make sure to drop in and peep this cool-ass flick.
