See Sylvester Stallone and Jason Momoa throw down in this clip from Walter Hill’s Bullet To The Head

JoBloJoBlo

Walter Hill‘s return to action films will be marked next week with the Sylvester Stallone-led BULLET TO THE HEAD, co-starring Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo!), Sung Kang, Sarah Shahi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Ecko), and Christian Slater (Clarence Worley!).  Last week’s “return” of Arnold Schwarzenegger with THE LAST STAND wasn’t met enthusiastically, which kind of put a damper on this whole ’80’s action revival party, but i still have faith in my favorite action star geezers.  Stallone has done great with THE EXPENDABLES films thus far and although I’m not floored by the look of BULLET TO THE HEAD (or the excision of Thomas Jane from the cast), I’m at least enthralled to have veteran director Hill at the helm.

This new clip from the film features a brief showdown between Stallone and Mamoa…in the bathroom.  It’s a short tease, but a good indicator that Hill is still bringing the hard-hitting impacts as demonstrated in his previous films.  If anything, this clip gets my hopes up for a solid action romp, as I’ve been dying to see Hill deliver for years now.  I’m not looking for a genre-defining actioner, just a fun-filled throwback.

Throw down!:
