Selena Gomez developing Black Swan-esque horror film Dollhouse!

Deadline reports that Selena Gomez (SPRINGBREAKERS, NEIGHBORS 2) is developing the psychological horror-thriller DOLLHOUSE through her July Moon Productions, alongside STXfilms and Shawn Levy's 21 Laps. She is also eyeing the project as a potential starring vehicle.

The film itself is said to be "in the spirit of BLACK SWAN…set in the world of the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene.".

Here's what Adam Fogelson, chairman of STXfilms Motion Picture Group – had to say about the project:

Selena's involvement is an exciting direction for this project. She is supremely talented as both a star and a producer…Teaming Selena with Shawn and Dan’s expertise in the horror-thriller genre will elevate Dollhouse and we couldn’t be more thrilled by the way this is being developed.

Meanwhile, no official release or start date as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!

So what do you guys think? Either way, sound off below!
