Servant season 3 trailer promotes return of M. Night Shyamalan series

A month and a half has gone by since we saw the teaser trailer for season 3 of executive producer M. Night Shyamalan’s Apple TV+ series Servant, and now a full trailer has arrived online to give us a deeper look into the new season. Servant season 3 begins airing on January 21, 2022.

A psychological thriller series created by Tony Basgallop, Servant centers on

a Philadelphia couple in mourning. An unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage, but also welcomes a mysterious force into their home. Following its suspenseful season one finale, the second season of Servant takes a supernatural turn. As Leanne returns to the brownstone and her true nature is revealed, a darker future for all lies ahead.

TV Line informs us that Servant season 3

picks up three months after the death of Aunt Josephine and the events of the Season 2 finale, and Leanne (Nell Tiger Free) is extra paranoid. The poor girl, who now seems well-ensconced in the Turner household, is having nightmares of her creepy “aunt” and the horrors she left behind in the Church of the Lesser Saints. Despite the family’s hopes for normalcy with their returned baby Jericho, it’s very clear that they’re not out of the woods just yet. Not even close.

Nell Tiger Free’s co-stars include Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, and Rupert Grint. Sunita Mani is joining the cast in season 3.

Shyamalan has said that he sees Servant playing out over “40 parts”, or episodes. Since each season consists of 10 episodes, this one will get us up to 30… and there are rumblings that season 4 is already in the works, so Shyamalan might be able to get all 40 parts of this story out into the world.
