If there’s one movie that feels like it might bring JEAN
CLAUDE VAN DAMME back on track (after he lost it again in my opinion
post
WAKE OF DEATH) it’s
THE SHEPHERD (I choose to ignore the tacky “Border Patrol”
moniker). Everything I’ve seen and heard about the film spells “promising”!
Looks like it will be Van Damme back to “real fighting” and
the fact that skilled martial arts artist SCOTT ADKINS is his nemesis is
even more good news! The Shepherd is about a former
cop turned border patrol pitted against a group of ex-navy seals who are
trying to traffic drugs from Mexico to the USA. Like I said
sounds f*cking promising! I love the plot line!
Now, we were recently sent the DVD sleeve for the film (Thx
to Danny for the hook up) spin kick it below! THE SHEPHERD hits the shelves
on March 4 2008 –
