Shuttle to theaters

Here’s a fun-sounding trip into terror that seems to show some slight shades of JOY RIDE… only with chicks! The flick’s called SHUTTLE and it’s finally getting some action. Magnet Releasing has just acquired it with the intent of bestowing a small theatrical release before the DVD bow.

The release date for theaters will be March 6th, while the day the DVD drops is going to be April 7th. That’s the DVD cover art up top, which I love. It’s tough to go wrong with a couple of pretty ladies seen reluctantly in their undies. Uh, that sounded kind of pervy… yay! See how it’s kind of reminiscent of ol’ Rusty Nail’s first adventure with “Candy Cane”? Well, I guess it would help if you knew how the plot rolled. Check it:

Attempting to return home from a girls-only weekend vacation, Jules and Mel find themselves stranded at the airport, late on a rain-drenched night. Hoping to just get home safe and sound, they board an airport shuttle with a helpful, and seemingly friendly driver behind the wheel, but the peaceful trip turns out to be their worst nightmare.

Now, see what I mean? Hopefully SHUTTLE will be at least half as good as JOY RIDE. We’ll see in a couple of months. It was written and directed by Edward Anderson and stars Peyton List (below), Cameron Goodman, James Snyder, Dave Power, Cullen Douglas, and Tony Curran.
