The Hollywood Reporter shared some great news about SILENT HILL‘s first week DVD sales numbers. The flick may have underperformed at the box office, but it’s claiming the top spot this week in the world of small screen favorites. That puts it on top of POSEIDON, another summer disappointment and general money pit for the Warner‘s folks.
I was particularly psyched for the news because screenwriter Roger Avary is a genuinely cool guy, as evidenced in our interview with him. Also, while the flick may have been flawed, it did have a lot of great stuff in it.
I for one would love to take another big screen trip there.
