Simon’s Bloody Poster

The good folks over at Fangoria pointed us in the direction of artist Drew Struzan’s Official Site today to check out a new poster he just designed. You might not know his name, but you know his work- as he’s the dude that rocked the INDIANA JONES, and STAR WARS posters, as well as such classics like CUTTHROAT ISLAND, HARRY POTTER, RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD and THE GOONIES. Yeah, now you know who I’m talkin’ about, and you f*ckin’ love it!

Looks like he’s dippin’ into doing some horror these days, as his site showcases the new poster for SIMON SAYS, the slasher flick starring the always creepy in a good way Crispin Glover. Now, I’m a bit shocked because I didn’t think SIMON was all that big of a flick- and just by having Struzan doing the poster, it just levitated to a whole new level!

Directed by William Dear (HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS), SIMON’s about a pair of twins who like to kill. Yeah, simple premise, yet totally awesome sounding.

And check out the poster! That’s f*cking great! Crazy Crispin lookin’ psycho, and some chick with her skin ripped off screaming… with blood splatter to boot! Just by this poster alone, I’d see it!
