Singh is Unforgettable

One of the most visually stimulating and all-out beautiful movies has to be THE CELL, starring the pre-annoying Jennifer Lopez and the pre-comedic Vince Vaughn. It’s overall look was like a masterpiece painting, and qualified it as a piece of art more than just entertainment. Plus, it was pretty f*cked up, too.

So it’s exciting to hear that THE CELL director Tarsem Singh is back with a new project (haven’t seen him since CELL, although he did direct flick that has great buzz but hasn’t been released yet called THE FALL), this one entitled THE UNFORGETTABLE (the guy likes the word ‘the’ in front of his movies). And wait until you get a load of what this beast is about:

[THE UNFORGETTABLE] centers on a cop who in the course of a murder investigation realizes that he is not human and uncovers a war between good and evil aliens.

Wow. Can you imagine a story like that with the visuals of THE CELL at work? I can’t flipping wait! The potential for this to kick more than just ass is so there it’s not even funny. Apparently, it’s based on a video game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment called “The Condemned: Criminal Origins”, but as I haven’t played it nor have I heard about it before, I can’t say whether that’s a good or bad thing.

David Goyer (BLADE: TRINITY) is also on board to produce. Cool shite. Stick around for more updates on THE UNFORGETTABLE, and get ready for a movie that’s sounds awesome and will likely be a visual masterpiece!
